Adam is an exciting fast bowling talent from Durban, South Africa. A capable middle/lower order Batsman, Adam’s main weapon is his raw pace and at 6″4, Adam presents an imposing figure form the top of his run. Schooled at the George Campbell School of Techonology, where he was recruited on a sports bursary, Adam was involved in a number of age group squads throughout his teens.
In summer 2015-16, Adam was a standout with the ball for his former club, Umbilo Harelquins in the Kwa-Zulu Natal First Division. Limited to just the 10 games, he collected 13 wickets @ 16.62 with a best of 6-27 (10) against his new club, ACC. He has followed this up in summer 2016-17 with 13 wickets in just 5 games but also chipping in with 89 runs @ 29.66, proving his value lower down the order.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2017, Adam joined Desborough Town CC in the ECB Northants Division One. After going wicketless in his first two games, Adam proceeded to take 44 wickets in the next 16 league games, with a best of 5-50 against Brigstock at the end of July.
Summer 2017-18 for ACC proved to be his most productive domestically and a break out summer that lead to an invitation to the Dolphins Academy. Adam collected 37 wickets @ 11.62 with a best of 5-18 and was instrumental in ACC being promoted to the Natal Premier League.
In summer 2019, Adam joined Valley End CC and despite some groin niggles, was a solid contributor, taking 26 wickets @ 23.00. Adam was also exceptional in various trial games against Lancashire, Derbyshire & Hampshire, with the latter involving him in their winter program in 2019-20.
Adam joined ECB Middlesex Powerhouse club, Twickenham CC for the 2021 summer, lining up alongside Monty Panesar. Slotting in quickly, Adam picked up 24 wickets @ 26.04 with a best of 5-47. He remained with the club throughout 2022.
Residing in the UK permanently and with a UK Ancestral Visa in place, Adam is seeking to join a Premier League club next summer.
