Ajani Small

Ajani is a talented young cricketer from St Philip, Barbados. A tall young man, he is a capable Right-handed lower order batsman, suited to the lower middle order, although he was an opening batsman throughout school and his age groups. His dominant skillset these days, is his Right-arm Fast/Medium seam bowling, with decent pace and extracting awkward bounce from his tall frame.

Schooled at Queen’s College, he was and continues to be a good all-round student, excelling academically and artistically, as well as being a standout Volleyball player whilst attending the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill.

In 2023, Ajani joined Wanderers CC in the Barbados Cricket Association, playing for their intermediate side throughout the season. He was selected for the Elite Division side but niggles curtailed his local season and he is yet to make his top flight debut.

Holding a UK passport, Ajani is looking to try his hand in the UK for the first time in 2025 and will be a good pick up for a club seeking a young seam-bowling all-rounder for next summer.
