Andile is a a skillful all-rounder that was a regular feature for the Proteas for the best part of 10 years since his ODI debut as a 20 year old against Ireland in 2016. A hard-hitting left-hander that can bat anywhere in the middle order, he is also a very tidy right-arm medium/fast seamer that has made over 130 appearances for South Africa across all three formats.

At a young age Andile was a fantastic Hockey player and his high school scholarship came courtesy of those skills but he was also selected for the Dolphins pathway sides from U13 all the way through to the U19 side, which he first represented as a 16 year old at the 2012-13 Khaya Majola Coke week.

Andile made his professional debut in January 2014 and less than a month later was on a plane to Dubai having been selected for the South Africa U19 side to contest the 2014 ICC Under World Cup. By the 2015-16 season, he’d debuted in all three formats and he was Dolphins’ leading wicket-taker in the 20-over competition in summer 2015-16.

Over the next 18 months, Andile would go on to debut in all three formats for the Proteas and currently since in the top 30 most appearances for the Proteas in 50-over cricket, the format he has shown to be the most consistent in over the years.

In his 131 International appearances, he has over 1,000 international runs and 150+ wickets and hopefully there is more to come for the big all-rounder.

Seeking his first season abroad in 2026, Andile will be an outstanding pick up for any UK club looking for a genuine all-rounder that contribute in the middle order as well have a significant impact with the ball this summer.
