Anmolpreet Singh

Anmolpreet Singh is an Elite Indian professional cricketer from Punjab. A gifted Right-handed Batsman, Anmolpreet is also a tidy Right-arm Off-Spinner that was pegged as a star of the future long before his first professional appearances as a 17 year old for Punjab. From a sporting family, his dad, brothers and cousins were/are keen sportsman across multiple sports.

A youth superstar, he was a regular for Punjab through the age groups and represented the Punjab U19 side as a 15 year old, scoring 418 runs @ 83.60 with a best of 216 against Kerala in the 2013-14 Dhruve Pandove Trophy. His 400+ runs almost 100 more than the next closest player who were all mostly 3/4 years older than him at that stage. His performances over the ensuing seasons of age based cricket superb and he found himself eventually representing India at the 2016 ICC Under 19 World Cup.

He had already made his first professional appearances by that stage with a 2015 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. First Class and List A debuts followed in 2017 and his 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season saw him finish 4th in the runs tally with 753 runs @ 125.50 with a best of 267, all still whilst just 19 years old.

Post-COVID, Anmolpreet went on to make his first appearances in the IPL, drafted by the Mumbai Indians for the 2021 & 2022 editions and moving to Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2023 & 2024 IPL seasons.

Anmolpreet has been a regular feature in the Duleep Trophy Indian Zonal representative competitions as well as representing India A on many occasions both home and abroad.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2026, Anmolpreet will be a marquee signing for any UK club looking for a class top order batsman for next summer.
