Atwell Mokgoloboto

Atwell Mokgoloboto is a spin-bowling all-rounder from Limpopo, South Africa. A technically correct Right-handed Batsman that bats in the middle/lower order in Professional Cricket, he is a tidy Right-arm Off Spinner that has been a long-term Limpopo representative from youth through to Senior Mens Provincial Cricket.

A regular for the Impalas throughout the age groups, Atwell first appeared for Limpopo at U13 level at the CSA National Week. He played consecutive National U15 weeks the following 2 years before going on to finish his age group cricket with 2 appearances at the 2017-18 CSA National U19 Khaya Majola Coke Week as a 17-year old.

As Limpopo progressed back into the Senior provincial game, Atwell alongside a number of other home grown products started to get their first tastes of Professional Cricket, featuring initially in the CSA Provincial T20 cup before returning to full status. Atwell appeared regularly in the Limpopo Colts side during their re-entry and has gone on to play a leadership role within the Impalas set up.

A dedicated team man and an effort cricketer, Atwell has held his place in the side with glimpses of his ability to perform in the pro game and you will see in his highlights video that his batting ability is frustratingly far superior than the numbers he has produced so far. His economical Offies have been effective across all three formats against tough opposition and he’s often used with the new ball in the T20/One-Day formats.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2026, Atwell will be a sound signing for any club seeking a genuine all-rounder for next summer that is eager to not only impress on the field but to be engaged off it and develop his coaching skills.
