Ayana Siriwardhana is a very talented young spin-bowling all-rounder from Colombo, Sri Lanka. An attacking Right-hander, Ayana is predominantly a middle order Batsman that scores quickly regardless of the format of the game. Ayana is also a handy right-arm Off-Spinner that has been particularly effective in white-ball cricket with good control and economy whilst being a genuine wicket-taker.

With a glittering age group career, Ayana was earmarked early on for higher honours. He represented Sri Lanka at U19 level on a number of occasions, touring South Africa (2016) & Australia (2017), captained the Sri Lankan Under 19 Board XI Cricket Team in the Challenger Trophy to India and was on standby for the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup in 2018. He represented Sri Lanka at the Red Bull Campus World Cup in 2019.

In March 2019, Ayana made waves in his List A debut, smoking a brutal 105* (50) with 8 x fours and 9 x sixes and showing just exactly what he is capable of. In November 2021, Ayana was selected to join the Kandy Kings in the Lankan Premier League T20 tournament.

Seeking his first season in the UK after a couple of false starts due to COVID, Ayana will be a great pick up for any UK club seeking a hard-hitting top order batsman that is a more than useful off-spinner for next summer.
