Aya is a talented fast bowler currently playing first class cricket in South Africa for the Gauteng/Lions provincial side. Aya has a very successful cricketing career at school level before joining Border and represented them at Under 17 and Under 19 level before making his First Class debut in 2010.
As well as being a former South African Universities XI representative, South African Colts Under 23 representative, Aya also represented a South African Invitational XI vs England. Aya works hard at his game, is super fit and looking to keep improving to hopefully one day acheive a full contract in one of South Africans Franchise teams. Aya is also a very good coach and would like to open up his own acadamy some day.
He is looking for his second stint in the UK next summer following a shortened previous stint with Werrington CC in the ECB Cornwall Premier League and would be a great addition for any club looking for a spearhead to add to their attack.
