Caleb Seleka is an attacking Spin bowler from Potchefstroom, South Africa. A hard-hitting Right-hander that was a more than useful middle order batsmen through the age groups, his dominant skill is his Right-arm Leg Spin, which has proven particularly effective in the T20 format.

A former North West age group representative, Caleb was selected to represent the South African Under-19 side in summer 2020-21. The following summer, Caleb at just 18, was handed his professional debut in the CSA Provincial T20 cup against the Dolphins. He’d collect 10 wickets @ 26.20 in the tournament and by the end of the summer, he’d debuted in all three formats for the Dragons.

Season 2022-23 was a breakout summer for him, with 9 wickets @ 16.88 seeing him drafted in to the Joburg Super Kings squad for the 2022–23 SA20. Whilst he didn’t get on the park in South Africa’s newest tournament, it was a great experience for him and will only give his confidence a big boost for T20 going forward.

Seeking his first season abroad in summer 2024, Caleb will be an excellent pick up for a club seeking a promising young spinner that would like to make the most of an opportunity to spend more time in the middle with bat in hand. Caleb is a CSA Level One qualified coach.
