Chamikara Edirisinghe

Chami is high class spin bowling allrounder currently playing first class cricket in Sri Lanka for Sebastianites CC. He has a fantastic first class record of 278 wickets in 72 matches at an average of just 24.58. A quality left arm spinner with excellent variation, control and is a big spinner of the ball. He is also a more than useful batsman who can build an innings with correct shot selection.

He has ventured to the UK in 2016/2017/2019 seasons where he joined Ashton under lyne CC in Manchester in 2016/17 and 2019 with Chorley CC. He excelled at Ashton in a side which struggled both seasons in their league, but averaged 10.98 with the ball in 2016 and 12.69 in the 2017 season. In 2019, he again was excellent with the ball, taking 67 wickets @ 13.39 with a best of 6-32 to go with 431 runs @ 18.74.
In 2019 he had a excellent season again for Chorley CC in the Northern premier league finishing one of the leagues leading wicket takers with 67 wickets at 13.39 also chipping in with over 400 runs.

He has had 2 successful seasons in the Cornwall premier league for St.Just CC and is looking to return and join a competitive and ambitious team next season who offers a high standard of cricket.
