CJ King

CJ King is an exciting all-round talent originally from the Midvaal region but now based in Port Elizabeth. having signed for the Dafabet Warriors ahead of the 2024-25 season. A hard-hitting Right-handed Batsman suited to the middle/lower order in the professional game, he is a genuine wicket-taker, with his Right-arm Fast/Medium seam up bowling proving very effective.

A strapping lad, CJ attended St Johns in Johannesburg and was a star for the school and for the Gauteng age group sides as he progressed through to the conclusion of his education. He also featured for the Knights Franchise in the Lenasia Premier league (LPL), picking up 19 wickets @ 17.52 across the 22/23 & 23/24 summers.

With pro cricket always in the periphery, he appeared for just one game for North West and a couple for Limpopo on loan before being picked up by the Dafabet Warriors ahead of their 2024-25 season campaign. He was excellent in his first year down south, chipping in with valuable runs to go with plenty of wickets.

CJ was drafted by the Durban Super Giants for the 2024-25 edition of the SA20 and in September 2025, was picked up by the Sunrisers Eastern Cape for the 4th edition of the tournament along his brother, JP.

Seeking a first season abroad, CJ will be an excellent pick up for any club seeking a genuine seam-bowling all-rounder for next summer.
