Connor Cook is a talented young spin-bowling All-Rounder from Sydney, Australia. A hard-hitting Roght-hander that bats anywhere in the middle to lower order, Connor’s main discipline is his tidy Right-arm Off Spin that comes from both an energetic action and good height. Connor currently represents Gordon DCC in the NSW Premier Cricket Competition.
A junior star, Connor represented Australia at U16 level with a tour to the UAE to play a bilateral series against Pakistan. he went on to represent ACT-NSW Country at the Cricket Australia National Championships at both U17 & U19 level.
Connor had become a regular 1st XI contributor for Gordon DCC with his 29 club wickets across T20, One-day & Two-Day cricket coming at a tidy average of 22.81. Connor remains eligible for the Poidevin-Gray Shield (U21) competition and will come into contention for a NSW Rookie contract for the 2023-24 season should he continue on his current development trajectory.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2023, Connor is eligible for a UK Ancestral Visa and will be a great pick up for a club seeking a highly skilled and talented young spin bowling all-rounder for next summer.
