Cunningham Ncube is an attacking Top/Middle Order Batsman, Wicketkeeper and Off-Spinner from Zimbabwe. A hard-hitting right-hander, Cunningham can genuinely bowl as well as take the gloves and has done so in the professional game, with his Right-arm Off Spin getting a run in the recent 50-over Domestic competition, picking up 3-43 in his first bowl in the big time.
Having debuted as an 18 year old for Westerns 2007-08 Logan Cup he made sporadic appearances in the domestic scene over the next 10 years but could never quite pin down a place. Since 2019, he’s featured more regularly and shown glimpses of what he can do but needs to become more consistent to nail down a regular slot.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2025, Cunningham will be a handy pick up for any UK club seeking a batting all-rounder that can take the gloves or bowl some handy off-spin next summer.
