Devlin Webb is an outstanding young talent from Melbourne, Victoria. A genuine seam-bowling all-rounder, Devlin is currently playing for Casey South Melbourne CC in Victoria’s Premier Cricket Competition. He’s one of brightest young talents in the state, having represented Victoria at U17 level and also the Cricket Australia XI at the following National championships.

A right-arm fast/medium seamer, Devlin is equally adept with the new ball or bowling first change and likes to fulfil the role of villain with ball in hand. With an aggressive style, he enjoys the battle against the bat and likes to use his pace and bounce to intimidate.

A genuine all-rounder, Devlin is capable of batting anywhere in the order having opened the batting for Victoria at U17 level through to finishing off an innings in First Grade.

Having been graded by Frankston Peninsula as a 16 year old in 2018/19, he spent 3 seasons with the club through to the end of 2021 before switching to Casey South Melbourne to play alongside his good friend and fellow WSX client, Harrish Kannan, who he’d played a significant amount of representative cricket with for Victoria.

In summer 2022, Devlin joined Frocester CC in the West of England Premier League, his first season overseas. He hit the ground running and overall, was exceptional for the Gloucestershire-based club. His 354 runs @ 23.60 included an excellent 105 (89) in a losing cause and his 38 wickets @ 18.34 with a best of 4-29 helped the club on their way to promotion.

Devlin returned to the UK in 2023, signing as the main man for Winsley CC in the WEPL Wiltshire League and was very impressive indeed. Having shown glimpses with the bat the year, he gave an uninterrupted view of it in 2023 with 1270 runs @ 52.92 to go with 38 wickets for the second year on the bounce.

Seeking a return to the UK next summer, Devlin will be a very popular pick for any club seeking a genuine new ball bowler that can genuinely bat anywhere in the order.
