Divyaansh is one of the next outstanding crop of talent coming through the Indian national youth system. A stroke playing left handed batsman who hails from the city of Mumbai. From a very young age he has represented Mumbai at all age groups. He made his Under 14 debut against Gujarat and scored a sensational 212. He then went on to play for Mumbai Under 16 side scoring 505 runs in the pretigious Vijay Merchat Trophy, he was the 5th highest scorer in the whole of India.

He then showed his leadership skills by captaining the Mumbai Under 19 side in the Cooch Behar Trophy and scored 800 runs in 8 matches with an average of over 75 with a highest score of 202 against Delhi at Feroz Shah Kotla. This consistency saw him rewarded by inclusion in the Indian Under 19 team. He made his debut in Trivandrum against a powerful South African Under 19 side where he scored 122 of 244 balls on his debut. This impressive performance cemented his place in the side.

In 2019 he tourned England with the Indian Under 19 side where again impressive performances saw him the highest run scorer for India with 400 runs at 50. In 2020 he was selected in the ICC Under 19 World cup which was held in South Africa where he finished India’s 2nd highest scorer with 150 runs in 5 matches with 59 not out in the semi final against arch rivals Pakistan. He has 3 international hundreds to his name for the Indian Under 19 side. He has took 3 international wicket aswell, he has a special talent of bowling with both arms, left arm orthodox and right arm off spin.

He has played 18 youth international matches scoring 747 runs at 53.35 with a best of 128 not out against Zimbabwe. He is now into the powerful senior Mumbai squad for the up and coming Ranji Trophy. A player with immense talent and a bright future in front of him he would be an outstanding pick for any club.

In summer 2022, Divyaansh joined ECB Devon Premier League club, Paignton CC and was phenomenal. His 1160 runs @ 72.50 included a couple of breath-taking knocks included a brilliant 172 (122) as PCC chased down Cornwood’s 314 with 5 overs to spare. His 30 wickets @ 17.57 was also a very credible return for a young talent that knows no limit.

Seeking a return to the UK next summer, Divyaansh will be a great signing for any club seeking a top-end Batting All-Rounder.
