Finn Fontaine is enthusiastic young cricketer from Adelaide in Australia. An Australian/German/British Citizen, Finn is a coachable young player who as a Right-handed Lower Order Batsman and Right-arm Leg Spinner. He currently represents West Torrens District Cricket Club in the SACA Premier Cricket Competition, playing in their lower grade 4th XI, whom he debuted for as a 15 year old in summer 2019-20.

Not a noted batsman and whilst he has batted in every position in the order for WTDCC, it is his Leg Spin that is by far his dominant discipline. A classical style of leg-spinner that relies on drift and spin at a slower pace than many of the quick leg-spinners we see, he has persisted with the fine art of over the wrist spin and his numbers continue to improve as he becomes more consistent and controlled. This improvement has helped his captain back him to bowl longer spells but as is the case with Leg-Spin, he has a long way to go master it and the chance to bowl more and more during the season and as he develops, will do nothing other than help Finn improve.

Seeking his first season abroad in 2023, Finn will be a good pick up for a UK club seeking a young, enthusiastic Spinner for next summer. Finn will also shortly be qualified as a Cricket Australia Level 1 coach.
