Gabe Bell is an outstanding seam bowler that has come purely through the Tasmanian system from dominating the 2010-11 U17 Cricket Australia Championships through to become a spearhead for the Tassie Tigers Sheffield Shield side since his debut in 2016-17. A right-handed lower order Batsman, his Right-arm Fast/Medium bowling has proven to be some of the most consistent in red-ball cricket in Australia’s Premier competition, the Sheffield Shield.
Having dominated youth cricket with two exceptional performances for the Tasmanian Tigers’ at U17 & U19 level, Gabe was selected for the Australian U19 side to contest a Tri-Series against New Zealand and India. He was duly awarded a rookie contract with Tasmania and in March 2017, made his debut against South Australia, picking up 3-63 & 4-97 in an impressive first outing.
Having become Mr Reliable for the Tigers, Gabe has passed the 100 wicket mark in Sheffield Shield Cricket, with 103 wickets at a very credible 26.42 at the time of writing. At club level, he’s been a rock for South Hobart Sandy Bay Cricket Club, reaching an impressive 200 wicket milestone
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2023, Gabe Bell will be simply one of the best seam bowling options available for the summer with permission to play the full season granted by the Tigers. Gabe is looking to join a Premier League club for the upcoming summer.
