Gareth Grant is one of the more interesting characters to join WSX over years, albeit not our most subscribed to you-tuber, yet, he’s on track to take the title, with his “Can You Cricket” Channel clocking up 162k+ subscribers and over 40 million views!

Originally from South Africa, Gareth is married to an English Partner and has been based here for a number of years. A very capable Right-handed Batsman, Gareth has spent his time within UK Cricket playing for Woodhall Spa CC in the ECB Lincolnshire Premier League and Lincoln & District League.

Known for batting with his GoPro and thus opening himself up to a good sledge or two, Gareth’s infectious love for the game and genuine batting ability have made for some fascinating viewing and the content he provides us as cricket fans only adds to attraction of bringing him into a new club environment.

Woodhall Spa CC’s 2023 ‘’Players Player’’ Award winner, Gareth has consistently been an 800+ runs per season man for Woodhall Spa but its time for pastures new.

Seeking a friendly but ambitious club, Gareth not only joins as a very capable cricketer but as a genuine club asset with his followers about to be exposed to a whole new region of club cricket in 2024.
