Harjas Singh

Harjas Singh is an incredibly talented young all-rounder from Sydney’s Western Suburbs. A gifted Left-hander that is suited to the top of the order, Harjas is both a very capable Right-arm Medium/Fast seamer as well as a Right-arm off Spinner. A Bankstown junior, he was graded by Blacktown DCC in 5th Grade, scoring 107* on debut as a 14 year old and represented the Australian U19 side at the 2024 ICC Under 19 World Cup in South Africa.

Having dominated throughout the age groups and being a frequent member of a variety of NSW representative squads, Harjas was dominating 2nd grade as a 15 year old and by 16 he’d debuted for the Mounties 1st Grade side and never looked back.

He switched to Western Suburbs DCC ahead of the 2022-23 seasons and by the end of the summer had represented Australia U19 in two youth tests and three youth ODI against the touring England U19 side. The AUS U19 ventured to England in the 2023 English summer and again, Harjas featured heavily, playing both tests and 4 of the Youth ODI’s, scoring 295 runs @ 42.14 on tour.

One of the first names selected for the 2024 ICC U19 World Cup, he had terrible run but delivered for Australia when it counted most, top scoring in the Final with 55 (64) to help set a winning total as the Aussies rolled India by 79 runs in the final.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2025, Harjas will be an outstanding pick up for any club seeking a skillful all-rounder that can bowl both seam and spin as well take charge at the top of the order next summer.
