Ishan is an experienced former Sri Lankan Under 19 player now playing first class cricket in Sri Lanka for Ace Captail formerly named Sri Lankan Ports Authority. Making his first class debut in the 2013 season he has become the main batsman for Ace Capital. Having started his cricketing career at Dharmashoka College in Ambalangoda and then gained a scholarship at Nalanda College in Colombo in 2011/12 where he completed 1000 runs in his first college season.
Consistant performances saw him represent the Sri Lanka Under 19 team in 2011 and 2012 seasons. In 2018 Ishan ventured to these shores where he signed for Scholes CC in the Huddersfield league. He had a fantastic season scoring 974 runs in all competitions. A keen coach Ishan is keen to get involved with all aspects of club life. Available all season he would be a great signing for any club looking for a classy left hand batsman who can also chip in with some handy off spin bowling.
