Jayden Draper

Jayden Draper is an outstanding young talent from South East Queensland, Australia. A capable wicketkeeper, he is one of the country’s most exciting young batting talents, with the powerful right-hander, who operates in the middle order for the most part, firing the 3rd fastest youth century of all time in September 2025 against the visiting India U19 side. He represents Valley DCC in the QLD Premier Cricket competition.

From a sporting family, with his dad, Scott, a former champion Tennis player and pro golfer, Jayden is very much set on carving out his own path and it appears he has hit the jackpot with cricket. Schooled at the prestigious Anglican Church Grammar School or “Churchie” he starred for the school and featured heavily for Queensland through their pathway systems and being selected in back-to-back QLD U19 sides.

His outstanding performances for the junior Bulls saw him selected for the Australian U19 side that hosted the touring Indian U19 side. With his dashing hundred against the visitors, he was selected in the ICC Under 19 World Cup squad for the 2026 edition hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia. He was selected in each of Australia’s matches in the tournament.

Seeking his first season abroad in 2026, Jayden will be an excellent pick up for any club seeking an exciting middle-order batsman for next summer that can take the gloves if needed. He can roll the arm over on the odd occasion as well if needed.
