Jayden Goodwin

Jayden Goodwin is an incredibly talented young cricketer from Perth, Western Australia. A gifted Left-handed Top Order Batsman, he is also a part-time Right-arm Off Spinner that is the son of former Zimbabwe, Sussex & Western Australia legend, Murray Goodwin. He is currently contracted to Western Australia in the Australian Domestic system.

A youth star who was pegged for big things from a young age, Jayden progressed through the Western Australia age group system from U14 through to the U19 Australian State championships, having been picked for the U19 side at just 15 years old. He made his senior debut for the Western Australia 2nd XI in the Toyota Futures League at just 17 in 2019 prior to heading off on his Mormon mission, which was sadly cut short by COVID.

He pushed his way into the Western Australia 1st XI as a 19 year old in November 2021, debuting against Queensland in the Sheffield Shield, opening the batting for the Warriors. 2024 was a breakout year for Jayden, scoring his maiden First Class hundred, a marathon 115 (368) in a big win against Queensland. He backed this up with a career best 139 against South Australia in November and in all, five of his six milestone innings came throughout the calendar year.

With a desire to keep his good form going, Jayden spent his first season abroad in 2024, joining Horsham CC in the ECB Sussex Premier League, scoring 572 runs @ 57.20 with a best of 122 in a successful chase of 291 against Cuckfield CC.

Seeking a return to the UK, Jayden will be an excellent pick up for any UK club looking for a high-class top order Batsman for the summer. Jayden will be available until early August.
