Jeremy Solozano is a hard-working and talented left-hander from Trinidad & Tobago. A prolific schoolboy star, Jeremy represented the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at U13, U15, U17 & U19 level and ultimately was selected to represent the West Indies U19 side at the 2014 ICC U19 World Cup. His selection for the West Indies U19 came off the back of an exceptional 2013, in which he was the WICB U19 Regional tournaments leading run-scorer, with 257 runs @ 51.40. He would go on to represent the WI U19 on 14 occasions.

Prior to his U19 selection, he had made his First Class debut at just 17 in May 2013, in the WICB 4-Day competition semi-final, which Trinidad & Tobago won by 3 wickets against Jamaica. However, a slow start meant he would have to wait almost 2 years for another opportunity. He would become a fairly regular feature for the Red Force from 2015 onwards and whilst he has yet to set the domestic first class game alight, T&T have stuck with him as they are acutely aware of the talent within.

Having played in the UK once before, on tour with Queen’s Park Cricket Club in 2015, his 4 games yielded 242 runs @ 80.66 with a best of 106 (131) coming against Leicestershire 2nd XI as the visitors set up a 16-run win.

In 2019, off the back of some solid domestic performances, Jeremy was selected for West Indies A and scored 206 runs in 3 games @ 41.20 with a best og 69* & 92 against India A in the 3 game series.

Seeking to play in the UK for the first time as a Professional, Jeremy is seeking to play a high standard of cricket in 2022 and will be a good pick up for any club seeking an up and coming talent from the West Indies.
