Jiveshan Pillay is a highly-rated and incredibly talented Top Order Batsman from Durban originally but now based up in Pretoria. A gifted Left-hander that oozes natural talent, Jiveshen was a star for the Kwa-Zulu Natal province throughout the age groups and ultimately was selected for the South African U19 side to contest the 2018 ICC Under 19 World Cup, held in New Zealand.
On completing his Schooling, Jiveshen shifted north to Pretoria to study at Pretoria University (TUKS), one of the best Cricket Universities in the world. His performances saw him selected for the University Sports South Africa XI and in 2018 represented the South Africa Emerging players side that toured Sri Lanka.
Having made his Twenty20 debut for Northerns in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup in Sept 2017, Red-ball and T20 debut’s the next month, Jiveshen headed to the World Cup as a Professional Cricketer already. Jiveshen finished the summer as the leading run-scorer in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge tournament for Northerns.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2023, Jiveshan will be an excellent pick up for any club seeking a top order gun for this summer.
