Joe Cooke is a skillful seam-bowling all-rounder from Hertfordshire. A hard-hitting Left-hander suited to the middle order, Joe is also a very capable Right-arm Medium/Fast seamer that grew up playing his cricket for Radlett CC whilst also representing his native Hertfordshire through the age groups.

Upon finishing his schooling, Joe headed north to Durham University, joining their MCCU programme over the 2015-16 winter and in 2019, joined Glamorgan on a summer contract. After impressing throughout the season, Joe was awarded a rookie contract for 2020 and remained with the Welsh County side until the end of the 2022 season.

In his time with GCCC, Joe made 33 1st XI appearances with his best performances coming in the one-day format, having scored 266 runs @ 29.55 and taken 22 wickets @ 22.04 in his 17 Royal London caps and winning the title in summer 2021 taking his best figures of 5-61 in the semi-final against Essex.

Having been released from Glamorgan, Joe is seeking to reinvigorate his career and with a move north to live with his partner in the Cheshire region, seeks to join a Club locally. Whilst getting back out there trialling with counties during the week when normal service resumes, Joe will no doubt be a great all-round asset for any club in summer 2023.
