Jordan Silk is an outstanding Australian domestic cricketer from Sydney originally but who has carved out and exceptional career for Tasmania since heading south seeking opportunity. An occasional medium pacer, Jordan has been a standout performer with the bat and is a human highlight reel when it comes to his fielding, particularly with some of the most spectacular catches seen in world cricket for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League for whom he has been a stalwart since the competitions inception. Jordan has also represented Australia A.

Born and raised in Sydney’s western suburbs, Jordan was the youngest player in Sydney grade Cricket to make a century on debut for Penrith DCC and had been a regular top performer in the competition before his shift south. He maintained a presence in Sydney with the Sixers though, playing all his domestic T20 cricket for the franchise since his debut for them in summer 2013-14.

Jordan made his first class debut against Queensland in March 2013 and in just his second game, made a century to help Tasmania into the Sheffield Shield final. He backed this match-winning performance up in the final, again scoring a century to help Tasmania win its third title in one of Cricket’s oldest and most prestigious first class competitions.

In 2016, Jordan spent his first full season in the UK with Cuckfield Cricket Club, racking up 996 runs @ 62.25 in the ECB Sussex Premier League. His best performance was a 145-ball, 174 against Brighton & Hove CC.

Seeking a return to the UK for the first time in ages, Jordan is looking for a Premier League club that can host both he and his wife for the summer and his preference is to be based close to London.
