Karabo Motlhanka is a hard-working All-Rounder from the Associate nation of Botswana. A hard-hitting Left-hander accustomed to batting anywhere from 1-3, Karabo is also a tidy part-time Off Spinner that has also taken the gloves on occasion.

Born and raised in Botswana, Karabo graduated through Botswana Cricket Association’s development program and exceled in the sport, making his senior debut for Botswana at the age of 16. Karabo has gone on to be one of the first names on the team sheet ever since, representing Botswana in many International Cricket Council and Africa Cricket Association events and contributed to Botswana’s rise in the ICC Africa rankings since from being in ICC Africa’s Division Two to now battling in Division One for a place in the ICC Global T20 Qualifiers. He’s been the National team captain since the age of 22.

Always keen to grow, Karabo pursued his studies, obtaining a Bachelor of Science but has balanced education and cricket with playing experience in Zimbabwe, Singapore, Uganda as well as a 2017 summer in Derbyshire with Holmewood CC, which yielded 900 runs.

Seeking a return to the UK next summer, Karabo is looking to play a competitive standard and as one of the more impressive Associate Cricketers and a National team captain, will bring leadership and experience with him. Karabo is a CSA Level One accredited coach.
