Liam Scott

Liam Scott is an incredibly talented all-rounder, originally from Sydney but now based in Adelaide. A hard-hitting, Right-handed Top Order Batsman, Liam is also an outstanding Right-arm Fast/Medium seamer that is more than comfortable with the new rock in his hands. Having been graded for Sydney Cricket Club in the Sydney Premier Cricket Competition, he represented New South Wales at U17, U19 and 2nd XI level and was selected for the Australian U19 side to contest the 2020 ICC Under-19 World Cup in South Africa.

Ahead of summer 2019-20, Liam took an opportunity in Adelaide to join South Australia and the Adelaide Strikers. He made his Sheffield Shield debut against Western Australia in December 2019. Originally recruited as a seam-bowling all-rounder, he batted at No. 3 in his most recent Sheffield Shield game.

At club level, Liam represents Glenelg District Cricket Club in the SACA Premier Cricket competition. His first summer with the club he struck 605 runs @ 55.00 and has been in exceptional touch for them to start the 2021-22 summer, scoring back-to-back hundreds in the first two one-dayers to start the summer.

Liam joined Sunbury CC in the ECB Surrey Premier League in summer 2022 and whilst his bowling was restricted in the first half of the season he still returned the kind of numbers you would expect of a player of such quality. 773 runs @ 42.94 and 22 wickets @ 17.41 with a best of 5-23 was an excellent return in one of the best leagues in the country.

Seeking a return to the UK next summer, Liam will be a great pick up for any UK club seeking a genuine seam-bowling all-rounder that is a real game changer and a has a huge future in the game. Liam also holds a UK Passport.
