Lochie Hardy

Lochie Hardy is a classy all-round cricketer from Perth, Australia. A brutal Left-handed opening batsman, Lochie is also a very capable Right-arm Medium/Fast Seamer that plays his cricket in the Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) Premier Cricket competition for Claremont-Nedlands CC. He has also been a regular feature in the Western Australia Futures League side in the Cricket Australia 2nd XI competition.

A Mount Lawley junior, he represented the club in the various WACA Age group competitions and off the back of his performances was selected for the Western Australia U15 side to contest the National Championships in summer 2015-16. He moved to Scarborough the following summer with an opportunity to step up into their 2nd grade side and made his First Grade debut in his 2nd season with the club in 2017-18, representing Western Australia U17 that same summer.

Having become a regular in the Scarborough 1st XI either side of COVID, Lochie spent his winters playing in the Northern Territory competition before shifting to Claremont-Nedlands ahead of the 2022-23 summer. The move saw him not only step up a gear with the bat but his developing seam up bowling became a more frequent sight in First Grade, helping him push his way into the WA 2nd XI. Lochie has gone on to become one of WA’s most consistent performers both at grade and Futures league level.

Seeking his first season abroad in 2026, Lochie will be a hot pick for any club seeking a prolific top order batsman that can bowl better than useful seam next summer. Lochie is a Cricket Australia Level 1 coach.
