Madushan Ravichandrakumar

Madushan Ravichandrakumar is an experienced Spin-bowling all-rounder from Sri Lanka. A right-handed Middle Order Batsman, Madushan’s main discipline is his dangerous leg-spin bowling. Having debuted for Tamil Union as a 20-year old he has spent time with Bloomfield and Colts but now finds himself representing SL Air Force SC.

A hard hitting middle order bat, he is a creative batsman that has a full repertoire of stroke play and has generally batted from 5-8 at the professional level. His Leg Breaks have been deceptively successful in the Sri Lankan domestic scene, with an impressive red-ball strike rate of a wicket every 7 overs up there with some of the best around.

Madushan has had 2 previous seasons of UK experience, a 2019 stint with Euxton CC in the Ribblesdale League that yielded 38 wickets @ 18.05 with a best of 6-34 to go with an under par 347 runs in his first season in the UK. He returned in 2022 and was excellent for Totteridge Millhillians CC, scoring 658 runs @ 36.56 with a best 127 to go with 27 wickets with a best of 5-35 across 20 appearances.

Seeking a return to the UK next summer, Madushan would like to play in the Greater London region and will be a good pick up for any club seeking a genuine spin-bowling all-rounder. Madushan will be travelling with his wife.
