Michael Chinouya is an experience new-ball seamer from Kwekwe in Zimbabwe. A tall, right-arm Fast/Medium bowler, Michael is a lower order right-handed Batsman who whilst is not prolific with the willow but puts a high price on his wicket. He has represented Zimbabwe in 2 tests against New Zealand and 2 ODI against India.
Having flown under the radar for much of his career, his call up was a surprise to many but not to those who have played alongside Michael who is described as a whole-hearted player and his record reflects this, with over 360 professional wickets to his name, 224 of those coming in First Class cricket over a 17 year career that started as a 17 year old in 2004.
