Modester Mupachikwa

Modester Mupachika is a dynamic Wicketkeeper/Batter from Harare, Zimbabwe. A hard-hitting Right-hander that can bat anywhere in the top order, Modester is also a very capable wicketkeeper that is a leader amongst her peers, which is no surprise as the most capped player in Zimbabwe National Womens Cricket history. A Mashonaland Eagles representative, she has featured in the National side since she was 14.

A junior prodigy, Modester featured for the Zimbabwe U19 Ladies side as a 12-year old. Just 2 years later, Modester debuted for the Ladies open national side against Japan in the World Cup qualifiers, top scoring with 32. She would need to bide her time whilst education had to be finished but upon completion of her schooling, she returned to the National side and has been one of the first names on the team sheet across both ODI & T20I formats consistently post-COVID.

In her 100+ International game career, Modester has gone on to become Zimbabwe’s all-time leagding runscorer in both ODI & T20I, so can quite easily lay claim to legend status for the Lady Chevrons.

Modester has clocked up plenty of overseas experience, with a player/coach venture to Spencer CC in the Surrey Championship. 2023-2025 saw Modester have back-to-back seasons in Australia with Burwood CC.

She returned to the UK in 2026, linking with Winsley CC and was brilliant, with 598 runs @ 46.00 combined across the mens and ladies teams.

Seeking a return to the UK this summer, Modester is keen to join an ambitious club that can offer lots of coaching opportunities as well as playing both Ladies as well as Men’s cricket.
