Nayana Fernando is an experienced campaigner from Sri Lanka. A right-handed Middle Order Batsman and tidy wicket-keeper, Nayana first appeared in professional cricket back in 2009/10 as a youngster, debuting for Moratuwa CC and also representing Ragama CC in the early stages of his career.
After the 2016-17 season, Nayana ventured to Australia, spending 5 years in Victoria and Western Australia, picking up coaching qualifications and a wealth of experience before resuming his First Class career with Nugegoda SWC in 2022 and now Burgher Recreation Club in season 2023.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2024, Nayana will be a great value pick up for any club seeking a capable middle order batsman next summer that can take the gloves and roll the arm over with some steady offies.
