Neville Madziva

Neville is a genuine all-rounder from Kadoma in Zimbabwe. Predominantly a Seamer, Neville consistently bowls up around the 75-80mph, nippy without being express. Good control of line and length as his economy rate at First Class level would suggest, make Neville a genuine New-ball bowler at club level in the UK.

Despite the stop/start nature of Zimbabwean cricket over the last couple of summers, Neville has been a consistent performer for his native Mid West Rhinos since his debut in 2011. In 2014, Neville made his ODI debut and to date has represented his nation on 27 occasions.

His most impressive performance undoubtedly came against India in Zimbabwe’s famous win in a T20I in 2016. Bowling to Indian legend, MS Dhoni in the final over, Neville successfully defended the 8 runs required for victory as Zim grabbed an unlikely 2-run win.

In summer 2022, Neville has his first season in the UK, joining Carlton CC in the Scottish Eastern Premiership. His genuine all-round contribution was a tidy first effort, scoring 489 runs @ 32.60 and chiming in with 23 wickets @ 24.65 with a best of 4-31

A No. 6-7 bat who places a high price on his wicket and a first change bowler at First Class Level, Neville will be a great addition to any UK club seeking an overseas that offers plenty with both bat and ball.
