Nick Davis is a naturally gifted all-rounder from Tasmania, Australia. A genuine cricket unicorn, able to open both the batting, and the bowling, he has been embedded in the Cricket Tasmania pathways since his early teens. From regional Tasmania originally, he is currently contracted to Tasmania in the Australian Domestic system. Nick plays his club cricket with North Hobart CC in the CTAS Premier Competition.
A brutal right-handed batsman that can bat anywhere in the order, Nick is a powerfully built cricketer, he has been a lightly-raced but very effective seamer that bowls a heavy ball and is building his bowling loads up nicely in 2024-25 having been restricted in previous summers whilst on the road back from injury.
He reminded all and sundry in summer 2023-24 what he could do, with a couple of outstanding hundreds for Tasmania’s 2nd XI and finished the summer with a daddy, scoring 167 (169) in his final outing for Glenorchy as they chased down Clarence’s 335.
Seeking his first season abroad in 2025, Nick will be an excellent pick up for any club seeking a genuine seam bowling all-rounder for next summer.
