Nivethan Radhakrishnan

Nivethan Radhakrishnan is one of the most exciting young talents in Australian Cricket. A gifted and easy on the eye Left-Handed Top Order Batsman, Nivethan has the unique skill of genuinely bowling with both arms, delivering Right-arm Off Spin and Slow Left-arm Orthodox spin with equal aplomb. It is no surprise that he holds a candle for Sir Garfield Sobers as his idol.

Born in Chennai, Nivethan moved to Sydney in 2013 at the age of 10 with his family and having progressed through the Grade system, was a regular for NSW at age group level. He relocated to Tasmania ahead of the 2021-22 summer, where he is currently contracted with the Tigers.

In his first season in Tasmania, Nivethan was excellent for his new club, Kingborough DCC, scoring 581 runs @ 48.42 with a best of 151. He made his Sheffield Shield debut against New South Wales on his return from the World Cup in February 2022.

Looking for his first season in the UK in 2023, Nivethan joined ECB East Anglian Premier League stalwarts, Bury St Edmunds CC for the summer. He was excellent with both bat and ball with 746 runs @ 39.26 to go with 45 wickets @ 18.27 posing a genuine threat with both arms!

Nivi will be an excellent pick up for any UK Club seeking a high class top order batsman that can also provide a real X-factor with the ball. Nivethan is a Cricket Australia Level One coach.
