Nosthusha Kenjige

Nosthush “Noshy” Kenjige is a US-born spin-bowling all-rounder based in Texas, USA. A hard-hitting Right-hander that can bat anywhere in the middle/lower order, Noshy is an outstanding Slow Left-arm Orthodox Spinner that is an electric fielder as well, often seen roaming in the covers/backward point region. He has been a mainstay of the USA National ODI team since his pre-COVID debut and in 2024, has entrenched himself in the USA T20 side, playing in the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup played on home soil.

Born in Alabama, where his dad worked as researcher at Tuskegee University, Noshy returned to India as an infant with his family. He played school cricket for The Lawrence School Lovedale and University Cricket in Bengaluru, representing Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. He returned to USA in 2015 after completing his studies.

Noshy made his USA debut in May 2017 against Oman in the ICC World Cricket League Tournament in Uganda and in Jan 2018, he was selected in the United States squad for the 2017–18 Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies, picking up 9 wickets in 8 games and has gone on to become one of the USA’s leading wicket takers in their history, sitting 2nd behind USA legend, Saurabh Netravalkar.

Domestically, he has represented the Dallas Mustangs throughout the emerging years of Minor League Cricket and was drafted by the MI New York & MI Emirates T20 franchise teams in the Major League (MLC) and ILT20 tournaments in 2023/2024.

One of cricket’s good guys, Noshy is an even better human than he is Cricketer and in 2025, is seeking to play his first season of Cricket in the UK. He’ll be a handy middle/lower contributor with his clean striking and will surely give opposition batsmen headaches in his first summer in the old dart. Noshy will need to miss approximately 3 games mid-season for Major League Cricket but will return to complete the summer.
