Olinder Chare is an exciting spin-bowling prospect from Zimbabwe. A right-handed lower order batter, Olinder isn’t renowned for troubling the scorers too much with the bat but when the ball is in her hand its a different story. Olinder is somewhat of a smiling assassin, with her Right-arm Leg Spin proving to be very effective since her cricket journey began during COVID.
Signed by the Eagles as a 16-year old, she made her professional debut shortly thereafter and was selected for the Zimbabwe U19 side to contest the 2023 ICC Womens U19 World Cup. Olinder made history as she became the first Zimbabwean to take a wicket at a Womens U19 World Cup for Zimbabwe, picking up 2-34.
In Summer 2024/25, Olinder made her Senior Women’s One Day International debut against the USA at Harare Sports Club in the 3rd match of the series, still just 18. She picked up 2-41 and played in each of the remaining games of the 5-match series.
Seeking her first season abroad in 2026, Olinder will be a great pick up for any club seeking a Ladies Professional for the summer that will be a heavy contributor with the ball.
