Pinak is a gifted Left-hander from Mirpur in Bangladesh. A classy opener, Pinak sits among the top 20 run scorers in U19 ODI cricket history. He is also a tidy right-arm off-spinner, rarely used in top flight cricket but capable of being utilised at club level effectively.
A patient Left-hander, Pinak was identified as a talent waiting to be fulfilled, selected for the Bangladesh U19 side at 16 years old to tour South Africa. He would go on to represent Bangladesh at two ICC U19 World Cup (2016 & 2018) and in the process, creeping into 19th place on the all-time U19 runs chart.
Having debuted in First Class cricket as a 16 year old, his early career appearances were intermittent but 2018-19 has been a coming of age season, scoring 343 runs @ 31.18 in the domestic first class competitions.
Seeking his first season abroad in 2021, Pinak will be a good pick up for a club seeking a talented young batsman for this summer keen to make his mark on the UK club scene.
