Ronak Patel

Ronak Patel is an exciting emerging all-round talent from Harare, Zimbabwe. A patient, right-hander that can bat anywhere in the top-order batter, Ronak is a tidy right-arm off-spinner that is a natural leader on and off the pitch, having captained a number of age group representative sides. He plays for Takashinga CC in the National Premier League

A star at schoolboy level for Hellenic College, Ronak was a regular in the Zimbabwe U19 side and was selected in the 2024 ICC U19 World Cup squad. He was a touring party member of a number of emerging sides to India, captaining on his 2nd visit.

Summer 2025 saw Ronak again assume a leadership role for the Chevrons, leading the U25 emerging side on their tour of England in July/August. The most consistent performer with the bat on tour, he struck 325 runs @ 36.11 with a very impressive best of 132 against EAPL side, Downham Stow. He also chipped in with 8 handy wickets, with a best of 3-28 against Club Cricket Conference.

From a cricketing family, with a younger brother coming through the system, Ronak has been moulded into a long-term prospect that will make his franchise debut in summer 2025-26.

Looking to return to the UK for a full season of club Cricket, Ronak will be a good pick up for any UK club seeking a quality top order batsman that can do a solid job with the ball next summer.
