Seth Rance is a high-quality and long-standing servant to the New Zealand domestic scene. Since debuting as a 21 year old for Central Districts back in 2009, Seth has continued to lay claim to being one of the most reliable seamers on the circuit and has excelled in the T20 format of the game which ultimately led to his Blackcaps debuts in both ODI & T20I cricket in 2017.
A fireman by trade and from the small picturesque Greytown, Seth has been a mainstay of the Central District Stags’ attack. One of the most economical T20 bowlers in the country, his strike rate in the game’s shortest form is up there with some of the best in the game, so it really was no surprise when he found himself in the mix for the Blackcaps. His first T20I wicket was none other than the “World Boss”, Chris Gayle, knicked off to the keeper.
Seth has 3 seasons of previous experience in the UK with Louth CC (2010) and Furness CC (2016 & 2017). Furness CC described him simply as the best Professional they had ever had on/off the pitch. His performance with the ball in the Cumbria League over 2 seasons was exceptional, pocketing 155 wickets @ 8.85 with a best of 8-26.
Open to exceptional opportunities.
