Shahzaib Jamil Ahmed is a hard-hitting Wicketkeeper/Batsman originally from Pakistan but now based in Qatar. A powerful right-hander, he’s been a regular for the Qatari national side since he completed his qualification for the country in 2024.
He started his journey in Karachi, playing in the PCB U16 tournament in Karachi and followed this up with U19 and Senior district representation before moving to Qatar post-COVID. He joined Galfar CC in the Qatar 50-Over Pro League and Asian CC in the QCA T20 competition.
Since his international debut, Shahzaib has gone on to represent Qatar on 20 occasions across both T20I & 50-over formats, with a best of 44 against Hong Kong.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2026, Shahzaib will be a good pick up for any club seeking a Batsman/Wicketkeeper for next summer that won’t break the bank. Shahzaib is a keen coach and currently holds an ICC Level One coaching qualification.
