Shoun Handirisi

Shoun is a hard working young ‘Keeper/Batsman from Harare in Zimbabwe. A middle order Batsman, Shoun was prolific right through the age groups and represented Zimbabwe from U14-U19 level, representing Zimbabwe at two U19 World Cup’s (Australia – 2012 & Dubai – 2014).

A keen all-round sportsman, Shoun debuted for his native Matebeleland Tuskers Franchise in 2014-15 and despite an inauspicious start has remained in and around the franchise and has represented them on twenty-eight occasions as at Sept 2017. A tidy wicket-keeper, Shoun has collected 38 dismissals in the same time period. Whilst not on Franchise duty, Shoun has been prolific for Inkatha Roosters in the Bulawayo Premier League.

Seeking his first placement abroad in Summer 2023, Shoun is seeking to join a friendly yet progressive club for next summer. A keen coach, Shoun will be required to complete an ECB Level 2 coaching course and is very keen to do so as coaching is something that interests him in the long term.
