Sintu Majiza

Sintu Majiza is an exciting fast bowling talent from George, South Africa. A not known for his right-handed lower order batting exploits, his rapid Right-arm Fast seam bowling is quite the opposite, having had plenty of experience first class batsmen hopping around in their crease with is explosive action and raw pace proving to be a real handful since he first appeared for the South Western Districts side.

With no overly decorated youth career to speak of, Sintu emerged through the Warriors CSA Academy program in 2019 and just under 2 years later was handed his first class debut for his home province of South Western Districts. His 50-over debut followed the next week and it is the one-day format that he seems to have really found his groove, with 14 wickets in first 8 matches with a number of lightning quicks spells.

A clever but developing seamer, Sintu not only has genuine pace but is genuinely able to move it off the seam with a horrific leg-cutter keeping his wicket-keeper in a job, which when combined with his pace and clever slower ball variations, make this young thoroughbred a real handful.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2024, Sintu will be an excellent pick up for any club seeking a genuine new ball threat with raw pace and casting an imposing figure at the top of his run up.
