Sulaimon Runsewe

Sulaimon Runsewe is a prominent Nigerian international cricketer who serves as a wicketkeeper-batter and the captain of the Nigeria senior men’s national cricket team, nicknamed the YellowGreens. A right-handed batsman, Sulaimon has established himself as a pillar of Nigerian cricket since making his senior international debut in 2019 as a teenager.

He first gained international attention as a standout player for the Nigeria Under-19 team, playing in the 2020 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa. He progressed quickly to the senior side and eventually took over on-field leadership duties. In mid-2026, he officially captained the YellowGreens during their high-profile T20I and 50-over Tri-Series tour against Namibia and Hong Kong.
