Mohammad Tahir Adil is a skilful and hard-hitting all-rounder from Afghanistan. A tidy right-arm Off Spinner, Tahir is an aggressive, right-handed Middle Order Batsman currently playing for Speen-Ghar Region in the Afghanistan domestic system. He has also represented Afghanistan A.

He first appeared on the domestic scene in August 2017, debuting in the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament against Band-e-Amir and made his First Class and T20 debut’s shortly there after. Like most Afghan’s, Tahir has been starved of competitive cricket for most of his career, with just 50 or so domestic games in the 5 years since his debut but he’s shown he is capable of valuable and genuine all-round contributions.

His batting in 50-over Cricket as a late overs finisher has been where he has excelled the most with Bat in hand whilst his patient, controlled and economical Off Spin has proved useful in the longer formats of the game.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2023, Tahir will be a good pick up for a club seeking a very capablespin bowling all-rounder keen to make his mark on UK Cricket.
