Tarisai Musakanda

Tary Musakanda is one of Zimbabwe’s brightest talents. A top-order Dasher with quick hands and explosive hitting power, Tary is also a tidy bowler that bowls both spin & seam. The talented Right-hander made his professional debut in 2014 at 19 years old on his return from the 2014 ICC U19 World Cup.

He would be selected to make his international debut within 2 years and has gone on to represent Zimbabwe in all 3 formats. With Zimbabwe cricket going through its current woes, the landscape of Zimbabwe Cricket will no doubt see some fundamental change and an incredibly intelligent young man like Tary will be a strong candidate to be in the leadership group mix going forward, once ZC are on the right track.

Tary spent his first UK summer in beautiful Devon, joining Budleigh Salterton CC for their Division One campaign. His return was exceptional, scoring 846 runs @ 76.91 with a best of 124 and collecting 29 wickets @ 21.31 with a best of 5-33. Tary headed to Australia for the 2019-20 season, linking up with New City Phoenix CC in Albury-Wodonga for the 2018-19 Australian Summer.

Seeking a return to the UK next summer, Tary will be an exceptional signing for a club seeking a genuine all-rounder that can bowl both spin & seam for next summer.
