Thilan Prashan is a talented all-rounder from Weligama in Sri Lanka. A capable Left-handed Middle Order Batsman, he is a skilful Right-arm seamer, clocking in around the 80mph mark. He captained his school, St Servatius and off the back of his performances for the school and at the age group level, was selected to represent the Sri Lankan U19 side and was in the ICC Under 19 World Cup squad for the 2018 tournament.
Thilan made Twenty20 debut for Sinhalese Sports Club in the 2018–19 SLC Twenty20 Tournament in Feb 2019 and his One-Day debut the following month. He made his first-class debut 12 months later.
Seeking his first season in the UK in 2025, Thilan will be a good pick up for any UK club seeking a skilful new ball bowler that can contribute in the middle order next summer.
