Tinashe is an attacking top order Batsman from Harare, Zimbabwe. A dashing right-hander, he is an occasional right-arm off-spinner as well. Having first appeared in 2014 having been selected for the Zimbabwe U19 World Cup side, he made 5 appearances for Zimbabwe at the ICC U19 World Cup ad made his senior International debut for the Zimbabwe in July 2018 in an ODI vs Pakistan.

He made his Twenty20 debut for Zimbabwe against Eastern Province in the 2016 Africa T20 Cup and at the end of the summer, he was named in an academy squad by Zimbabwe Cricket to tour England. He made his One-Day debut for Rising Stars in the 2017–18 Pro50 Championship and was the leading run-scorer during the tournament, with 379 runs in nine matches.

In June 2018, he was named in a Board XI team for warm-up fixtures ahead of the 2018 Zimbabwe Tri-Nation T20 Series and the following month, having not featured in the T20, Tinashe was named in Zimbabwe’s ODI squad for their series against Pakistan.

June 2019 saw him named in Zimbabwe’s ODI and T20I squads for their series against the Netherlands just prior to COVID, he was named in Zimbabwe’s ODI and T20I squads for their tour against Bangladesh making his T20I debut for against Bangladesh on 9 March, just before it all kicked off.

He returned to the mix in 2023 taking on Ireland, Sri Lanka & Namibia and remains very much in the frame for the big time once again.

In good form and making a late decision to head abroad in 2025 for the first time, Tinashe took a late deal and joined Barton CC in Devon in a tough campaign for the club. 320 runs @ 29 & 12 wickets @ 29 in just 11 games was a solid return in a team that struggled across the board.

Tinashe be a good pick up for any club seeking a quality top order batsman that can roll the arm over this summer.
