Toby Robinson

Toby Robinson is an immensely talented young cricketer from Sydney’s northern suburbs. A tidy Right-arm Off Spin Spinner, he is a very impressive Right-hander that can bat anywhere in the top order. He completed his schooling at Shore, Captaining their 1st XI in the Elite Greater Public Schools (GPS) competition whilst progressing through Gordon District CC’s lower grades.

A Gordon CC junior, Toby has progressed through the club’s age groups to now pushing for a place in the 1st XI in the New South Wales Premier Cricket Competition. Having been a standout for Gordon in the NSW Premier Cricket AW Green Shield (U16), Toby was selected for the NSW Metro Scorpions in the State Challenge at U17 level in summer 2023-24.

As the runs continued to flow at GPS and club level, Toby was selected for the New South Wales U17 side to win the 2024-25 Australian State Championships. He was outstanding, finishing the tournament as one of the leading performers with 183 runs @ 91.50 with a best of 78* against South Australia as well as hitting 56 (77) with the Blues in trouble, getting them to what was ultimately a defendable score in the final. He was also selected for the NSW CIS U19 side.

For Gordon DCC, he’s been one of their brightest emerging talents, still just 17, he’s opened the innings in the prestigious U21 Poidevin-Gray Shield and in the middle order for the Second Grade side. 2025-26 started with a bang, scoring an exceptional 106* (51) against Hawkesbury, smoking 7 fours and 7 sixes.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2026, Toby will be an excellent pick up for any UK club seeking an exceptionally talented young batsman that can contribute with the ball next summer. Toby holds a Cricket Australia Level 1 (ECB Level 2) coaching qualification and has the added luxury of holding a UK Passport for ease of entry.
