Tsepo Ndwandwa is a skilled left-arm Orthodox spinner from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Not a noted batsman, Tsepo has been one of the regions best performed spinners since his professional debut in 2016. Having been involved in various Eastern Province representative teams since 2013 when selected for the Under 17 National Championship squad, Tsepo progressed through the U19 programme for the Khaya Majola Coke week U19 National Championships and finally to the Warriors Cubs & Franchise Academy sides.

He chipped away for the academy sides and continued to chase higher honours by representing Border Village in the CSA Rural championships whilst he waited for an opportunity with his native Eastern Province. That chance wouldn’t come quickly enough, so he headed down to Border Province seeking a chance to push his way in to the Senior Provincial tournaments. He did just that spending 2016/2017 in the Eastern Cape before taking a contract with South Western Districts (SWD) for the last half of the 2017-18 summer, where he remains.

Season 2019-20 was a breakout summer for Tsepo, picking up 36 wickets @ 27.50 (33 @ 24.84 in the 3-Day CSA Provincial Cup) to finish the summer as the 2nd best spinner in the competition and also collecting his maiden Franchise cap with selection for the Cape Cobras early in the season.

Seeking a northern hemisphere summer next year, Tsepo will be a great pick up for a club seeking a strike spinner that gets genuine turn and has the natural advantage of taking the ball away from the right-hander.
